OURSTORY

MIKE AND SUE TESAURO  have been involved with pastoral ministry and teaching since 1986. Mike is currently one of the Bible teachers for second year BSSM, and he also teaches Bible classes at Bethel Church. Sue is passionate about the Word of God and being a helper of others’ joy (2 Cor. 1:24). She leads a small group Bible study for women at Bethel Church and at CareNet in Redding. 

The Tesauro’s moved into the Clay Street neighborhood with the purpose of being a light and bringing transformation to a place in need of God’s love. Shortly thereafter, they began the adventure of setting up housing for BSSM students that could share in the same vision – and Redding Prayer Housing began.

Mike and Sue have 7 children on earth (and 2 in glory), all of which are now grown. They also have 10 beautiful grandchildren (so far), ranging in age from babies to 9 years old! One of their favorite verses is Romans 14:17, “For the kingdom of God is not meat and drink; but righteousness, and peace, and joy in the Holy Spirit.” It is this kingdom that they seek in their personal lives, their family, and in their neighborhood. They believe a transformed life and neighborhood are evidenced by joy!
